Feather Flores has not yet learned how to be as regal—or as chaotic—as a cat, but she's working on it. A children's book writer and editor based in the San Francisco Bay Area, she believes that celebrating Christmas with a kitty is the best gift of all.
Carrie Liao resides in Southern California with her cat, Ellie. She works as a storyboard artist by day and an illustrator by night, while Ellie works at sleeping as many hours as possible. Now that she has nieces, Carrie's favorite Christmas activity is pretending to be Santa.
“Flores’ adaptation of the English carol will have feline fans giggling merrily… Liao’s mixed-media illustrations, which resemble watercolors, are the real stars of the show. The expressive, hyperactive pusses doing nothing but being cats are a hoot….Festive feline tomfoolery.” - Kirkus Reviews

?- “A twinkling Christmas tree with all the trimmings is the purrfect playground for the kitties given to the narrator of Flores’s funny, furry carol variation….Liao expertly conveys a knowing affection for the kitty characters in winning, fluidly rendered scenes that pinball from frenzied, chaotic action to serene cuddliness.” - Publishers Weekly, starred review
